Heaven, though that’s what’s at the end of our lives, isn’t, shall we say, the ultimate end state. There will be upgrades, when we become ready. The first will be the new Heaven and the new Earth, which will be New Jerusalem. That one people know about. New Jerusalem, Heaven on Earth, is the new Earth. The new Heaven is outer space, what we find and do with it. Should be awesome.
And people generally stop there, naturally. But there’s more! What is beyond the stars is Infinity. When we become infinite creatures, as children of God. And you might think that’s it, right? What else could possibly top that? It is called the Empyrean! And there, we exist with God and Nature as their equals. Blows the mind. That is the ultimate purpose for which we were made.
